Chef Heather, our dedicated instructor for homeschool, Mini Chef, and evening culinary classes, combines her passion for education and cooking in every lesson. She created the Mini Chef Storybook Chefs Class, blending storytelling with hands-on cooking to enhance reading comprehension and bring stories to life on the plate.

For older homeschool students, Chef Heather explores the science and history behind each dish, integrating STEAM principles to create engaging and educational experiences. Her enthusiasm for teaching fosters an inspiring environment where students of all ages can build confidence and culinary creativity.

Meet Chef Cameron Ball: Owner of Chefs In Progress Cooking School

Hello! I’m Chef Cameron Ball, a certified ACF Chef and Healthy Hands Certified Instructor.

My passion for culinary arts and education inspired me to create Chefs In Progress, where children and adults can discover the joy of cooking through organic, holistic, and farm-to-table practices. My goal is for every student to leave our classes with confidence, practical cooking skills, and a foundation for a healthier lifestyle.

You’ll often find me leading our Young Chef Club, Adult Classes, and Special Events like Someone Special and Me. In our 8-month Young Chef Club program, I guide homeschool and public school students in developing culinary techniques, exploring diverse flavors, and building essential life skills.
