Chef Heather, our skilled instructor for homeschool, Mini Chef, and evening culinary classes, brings a passion for education and the culinary arts to every lesson. She has developed our Mini Chef Storybook Chefs Class, which meets a few times each month, blending storytelling with cooking to help young students enhance their reading comprehension and bring stories to life on their plates.
For older homeschool students, Chef Heather delves into the science and history behind each dish, providing a richer understanding of food. With a background in homeschooling with a focus on Science, she expertly incorporates STEAM principles into her teaching, making each class a dynamic and educational experience. Chef Heather’s enthusiasm for both learning and cooking creates an inspiring environment where students of all ages and learning styles can thrive and explore their culinary creativity. As our evening culinary educator, she continues to inspire young chefs to build skills and confidence in the kitchen.
Hello! I’m Cameron Ball, a certified ACF Chef and a Healthy Hands Certified Instructor. At 22, I’m proud to be the owner of Chefs In Progress, a culinary school in Cape Coral, FL, where we offer culinary classes, camps, birthday parties, and nutrition education for kids, teens, and adults of all ages.
My passion for both education and culinary arts led me to create Chefs In Progress. My mission is to empower children and adults to improve their lives through organic, holistic, and farm-to-table cooking—all while having a great time! I believe everyone should walk into our classes with a smile and a willingness to learn and leave with a sense of accomplishment, boosted self-confidence, and the tools to build a foundation for healthy eating. At Chefs In Progress, I develop recipes for all our classes and often pop in and out, but you can usually find me teaching in the Young Chef Club, Adult Classes, and Special Events like Someone Special and Me. I spend most of my time in the Young Chef Club, where I teach homeschool and public school kids enrolled in our 8-month culinary arts program. Together, we focus on culinary skills, palate development, and essential life skills, helping them discover the joy of cooking and the importance of building a healthy, balanced lifestyle.
MY BACKGROUND
Chef Brianna, a 2024 graduate of New York’s prestigious Culinary Institute of America, combines her educational background with her specialization in Culinary Arts, Hospitality, and Catering. Known for her meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills, Chef Brianna brings a wealth of knowledge and creativity to Chefs In Progress. With a passion for inspiring young chefs, she is dedicated to helping them build confidence in the kitchen and refine their skills.
You can find Chef Brianna in all of our classes, from Mini Chef and Young Chef Club to Evening Classes, Special Events, and Summer Camps. Her enthusiasm and expertise ensure that every class is engaging, and every student leaves with a greater love for cooking.

Cancellation and Class Credits
While we are unable to offer monetary refunds, we do provide class credits when cancellations are made at least 2 days prior to the event. These credits can be applied to any future class of your choice. Simply contact us to receive a credit coupon that can be redeemed for an upcoming event.
Same-Day Cancellations
Due to the preparatory costs involved, including ingredient purchases and planning based on attendance, cancellations made on the same day as the class will not be eligible for a refund or credit. However, if you cannot attend, we encourage you to pass your booking to a friend or family member. Please notify us in advance of any substitutions so we can ensure the best experience for your guest.
