At Chefs In Progress, our mission is to inspire a love for cooking through hands-on, from-scratch culinary education. We empower young chefs to build confidence, explore global flavors, and develop lifelong kitchen skills — all in a fun, creative, and supportive environment.

Meet Chef Cameron

Meet Chef Cameron – Culinary Educator, World Traveler, and Flavor Enthusiast

Chef Cameron is the founder of Chefs In Progress, where his passion for education and real, from-scratch cooking comes to life. A proud graduate of the world-renowned Ballymaloe Organic Farm and Garden Cookery School in Ireland, Chef Cameron blends classical technique with a love for bold, global flavors.

He is a Certified ACF Chef, a Healthy Hands Instructor, and a Direct Pay Provider for Step Up For Students, making culinary education more accessible to families across Florida. When he’s not teaching, you’ll find him traveling the world tasting new cuisines, gathering inspiration, and bringing those experiences back to his students.

Chef Cameron believes food should be fun, flavorful, and educational — and that the kitchen is one of the best classrooms in the world.

Meet Chef Heather – Flavor-Focused & Science-Inspired

Chef Heather is passionate about the magic that happens when flavor meets technique. With a background in catering and education, she loves exploring bold tastes, fresh textures, and the science behind every dish. She champions local ingredients and supports community growers, bringing heart and creativity into every recipe she shares.

Meet Chef Karena

Meet Chef Karena – World Traveler, Taco Enthusiast, and Kitchen Mentor

Chef Karena’s all-time favorite dish to make (and eat!) is tacos — the more creative, the better! A passionate traveler and foodie, she loves discovering new flavors from around the globe and bringing those inspirations back to her kitchen.

For the past 12 years, Chef Karena has home-schooled her five children — blending education with hands-on cooking and life skills. Her joyful, down-to-earth teaching style helps young chefs feel confident, curious, and excited to cook!

Meet Chef Anna

Meet Pastry Chef Anna – Sweet Creations & a Heart for Teaching

Pastry Chef Anna is the owner of her own bakery business and a true artist when it comes to desserts. From delicate pastries to beautifully decorated cakes, she combines precision with creativity in every bite.

Anna brings her passion for baking into the classroom with warmth and joy. She loves working with children and has a natural gift for making them feel confident, excited, and proud in the kitchen. With her calm guidance and sweet spirit, Chef Anna inspires young chefs to fall in love with the magic of pastry.
