YOUNG BAKERS CLUB 2026

Year 1 – Foundations of Baking & Pastry Arts
Ages 8–15 | Monthly badges • Chef jackets • Skill certificates


Welcome to our signature baking program designed to grow with your child, step by step. Young Bakers Club is where kids become confident bakers through hands-on pastry training, fun teamwork, and progress you can actually see. Whether they’re brand-new or already love baking at home, students build real technique while strengthening life skills that carry far beyond the kitchen.


ABOUT OUR PROGRAM
Monthly Skill Progression
Each month introduces a new baking and pastry focus so students build skills in a fun, structured way—getting better and more confident with every class.


Personalized Chef Jackets & Hats
Every baker receives their own custom chef jacket and hat, creating a true “club” experience and making students feel like real pastry pros.


Certificates & Recognition
Students earn monthly certificates for the skills they master—perfect for building pride, confidence, and a portfolio of achievement.


Team-Based Baking
Students bake in pairs, just like a real bakery team. They learn communication, timing, and how to work together while making something amazing.

Young Bakers Club is more than a baking class—it’s a skill-building experience that supports the kind of learning families want, including homeschool, private, and public school students. Each class blends hands-on training with real-world education, character-building, and practical life skills.


LIFE SKILLS STUDENTS BUILD 


Confidence & Independence
Students learn to complete real tasks on their own—measuring, mixing, baking, decorating, and cleaning with increasing responsibility.


Time Management & Following Directions
Baking teaches students how to read steps carefully, work in the right order, and manage time so everything finishes together.


Teamwork & Communication
Baking in pairs develops cooperation, leadership, listening, and problem-solving—skills that translate into school, sports, and life.


Critical Thinking & Problem Solving
If something is too thick, too thin, over-mixed, or under-baked, students learn how to troubleshoot and improve instead of starting over.


Organization & Clean Habits
Students practice mise en place, station setup, clean-as-you-go routines, and end-of-class sanitation—skills that build responsibility at home.


Math in Real Life
Fractions, doubling, halving, ratios, scaling, timing, and temperature are built into every class without feeling like “math class.”


Science & Cause-and-Effect Learning
Students see chemical reactions in real time: leavening, gluten development, emulsions, and how temperature affects structure.


Creativity & Presentation
Piping, decorating, color planning, and design choices help students express creativity while still following technique and structure.


Respect & Kitchen Culture
Students practice focus, patience, safety, and working with others in a professional environment.


REAL-WORLD BONUS SKILLS
Students also get an introduction to what it takes to sell baked goods in the real world: farmers market basics, cottage kitchen concepts, packaging, labeling, allergy disclaimers, and designing simple labels for presentation.


PROGRAM COMMITMENT
Young Bakers Club is a committed 8-month baking program for students who want to build real skills over time. Because we keep class sizes small and do not fill seats once the program begins, enrolling in this program means you are reserving a seat for the full 8 months. By enrolling, families agree to the full tuition amount for the entire program. This program is non-refundable. Students bake in teams of two, and because teams share ingredients and follow professional formulas, we do not alter recipes during class. This is a committed 8 month Program please make sure your student wants to join and extended program before registering.

Young Chef Club – Find Your Level

Welcome to our signature culinary program designed to grow with your child, step by step. Whether they’re brand-new to the kitchen or ready to advance their skills, the Young Chef Club offers a clear path for every student. Each level builds confidence, technique, and independence while keeping the experience fun, hands-on, and engaging.

Students are placed in the level that best matches their skill development—not just their age—so every young chef can learn at the right pace and feel successful.


Choose the level that’s the best fit:

Level 1 – 1st Year Students
Perfect for beginners and students new to our program. They’ll learn essential kitchen safety, basic knife skills, how to measure, follow recipes, and cook simple, delicious dishes with growing confidence.
 

Level 2 – 2nd–3rd Year Students
Designed for returning students or those ready for a challenge. This level builds on core techniques with more advanced recipes, deeper culinary science, refined knife work, and multi-step meals that feel restaurant-worthy.
 

ABOUT OUR PROGRAM


Monthly Skills & Badges: Students will learn a new culinary skill each month and earn badges for their personalized Chef’s In Progress chef jacket.


Personalized Chef Jackets: Each chef will receive their own custom jacket to proudly showcase their badges and achievements.

End-of-Month  At the end of each month,  students receive certificates and patches for the skills they’ve mastered.

8 Badge Skills to Earn: Chefs will work toward earning badges in essential culinary areas, creating a sense of accomplishment and excitement throughout the program.

Learn Life Skills: Build confidence and independence by mastering essential kitchen skills like food safety, sanitation, and knife handling.

Develop Teamwork & Communication: Work collaboratively to complete recipes, solve problems, and share ideas in a fun and supportive environment.


Engage the Senses: Develop a deeper appreciation for food by exploring sight, smell, taste, touch, and hearing in every recipe.

Incorporate STEAM: Bring science, technology, engineering, art, and math into the kitchen with activities like understanding chemical reactions in baking and the geometry of plating.


Explore Food History & Culture: Dive into the origins of dishes, the history of ingredients, and the traditions of the people who created them.


Strengthen Critical Thinking: Follow recipes, troubleshoot challenges, and make informed decisions in the kitchen.


Expand Creativity: Experiment with flavors and techniques to add their own unique touch to every dish.


Our program aligns with education values, combining hands-on learning, teamwork, and a focus on life skills to create an enriching experience your child will love.

Because we keep class sizes small and do not fill seats mid-way through the program, enrolling in this class means you are reserving a spot for the full 8 months. By choosing a seat in this program, you are accepting responsibility for the full tuition amount for the entire program.
