Mini Chef Monthly Classes

🦁❄️ Mini Chefs in Narnia: Whisking Through the Wardrobe🦁❄️

Step through the wardrobe and into a snowy kitchen inspired by the world of Narnia!
 In this magical winter bake, Mini Chefs will whisk, mix, and create from scratch — 


  • Lucy’s Lemon Scones — buttery scones with lemon zest and a dusting of powdered sugar snow
  • Mr. Tumnus’ Toasted White Hot Chocolate — hand-whisked cocoa topped with fluffy whipped “snowdrifts”
  • Edmund’s Sweet Sprinkle Bar — a magical topping station where Mini Chefs can choose: 
  • ❄️ Snowflake Sprinkles — the snow that sparkles across Narnia
  • 🍬 Crushed Peppermint— represents the White Witch’s Turkish Delight, a reminder to choose kindness 
  • 💛 Gold Edible Sprinkles— the lamppost’s golden glow that lights the way home

This  whimsical, hands-on class blends storytelling and baking as young chefs  learn to cut cold butter into flour, shape and bake their own scones,  and safely whisk warm cocoa on the stove. It’s a cozy afternoon of  pastry, play, and winter wonder.

Mini Chefs: Cookie and Milk

In this hands-on workshop, students will bake Rustic S’mores Chocolate Chip Cookies topped with toasted marshmallow and a chocolate drizzle.

This class is inspired by one of our Young Chefs — and now published author — Chase Foreman. Each student will take home the new book Cookie and Milk. This story has a wonderful message, and we’d love for you to join us in supporting our Young Chef and author!

Get ready for a frosty, fluffy baking adventure! In this adorable winter-themed class, Mini Chefs will bake soft vanilla cupcakes from scratch, whip up a creamy vanilla buttercream, and transform their treats into the cutest Polar Bear Cupcakes ever.

Each child will decorate their cupcake with:
🐻 A “polar bear face” made from a vanilla Oreo
❄️ Desiccated coconut for a snowy coat
🍬 Mini marshmallows for ears and muzzle
✨ Fun candy details for eyes and nose

What Kids Learn:

  • How to measure, mix, and pour cupcake batter
     
  • How to use a spatula and piping bag with confidence

Kick off February with the cutest cooking class ever! Our Mini Chefs (ages 4–7) will roll, shape, and bake their very own mini heart-shaped pizzas to celebrate our February calendar.

Kids will knead dough, spread sauce, sprinkle cheese, and decorate their pizzas with love — a fun, hands-on kitchen adventure that’s perfect for little foodies.

Skills Mini Chefs Will Practice:


  • Measuring and pouring ingredients
  • Gently kneading and shaping dough into hearts
  • Spreading sauce and sprinkling toppings evenly
  • Basic kitchen safety around hot ovens and tools

Celebrate February with the coziest Mini Chef class ever! Kids ages 4–7 will create adorable Love Letter Jam Cookies and build their own Sweetheart Hot Cocoa Bar—a perfect mix of baking, creativity, and winter fun.


💌 Love Letter Jam Cookies


Mini Chefs will:

  • Mix a soft, buttery cookie dough
  • Roll it out and cut simple squares
  • Spoon a little jam in the center
  • Fold the dough into cute “love letter” envelopes
  • Bake and finish with powdered sugar “snow”
     

☕️ Sweetheart Cocoa Bar

After baking, kids will customize their own cozy drink with:

  • Hot cocoa
     
  • Whipped cream
  • Pink & white marshmallows
  • Valentine sprinkles

“Let’s travel to Ireland — land of rainbows, four-leaf clovers, and magical leprechauns!”

Pack your imagination, Mini Chefs… we’re taking a tiny trip across the rainbow!
In this colorful March adventure, your Mini Chef will become a little leprechaun chef, cooking their way through rainbows, clovers, and magical bites.

Their enchanted menu includes:
🧀 Shamrock Rainbow Quesadillas – tortilla clovers filled with melty rainbow cheese
🍅 Magic Rainbow Salsa – a bright, crunchy salsa with colorful veggies and a lime “sparkle”

⭐ Skills Learned:

  • Safe slicing and cutting with kid-friendly tools (for quesadillas only)
     
  • Mixing and measuring ingredients
     
  • Stirring together salsa and adding seasonings
     
  • Assembling simple recipes with independence
     
  • Cooking quesadillas on a griddle with supervision

Celebrate spring with a bright and cheerful Easter-themed class made just for Mini Chefs ages 4–7! In this festive workshop, kids will decorate Easter Basket Cupcakes (just like the picture!) and build their own Rainbow Parfaits—the perfect combo of creativity, color, and hands-on fun.

🐍🌴 Mini Chef: Jungle Safari Python Pretzels & Parrot Melon Fruit Cups

Little explorers, grab your aprons—we’re heading deep into the pretzel jungle! In this hands-on class, Mini Chefs will roll, twist, and shape their very own Python Pretzels, turning soft dough into silly, slithery snack snakes. Once their jungle pretzel creations head to the oven, chefs will cool off in the tropics by scooping and layering bright, juicy fruit to create their Parrot Melon Fruit Cups—a colorful jungle creation to enjoy with their warm, golden pretzels.

Mini Chefs will:

  • Roll and shape dough into jungle “pythons”
     
  • Brush, season, and add fun details like eyes and tongues
     
  • Scoop and layer fresh fruit to build bright Parrot Melon Fruit Cups
     
  • Practice kitchen safety, fine motor skills, and following step-by-step directions in a playful jungle-themed setting

Mini Chef: Zebra Stripes & Jungle Bites

Little bakers, grab your bowls—we’re heading out on a sweet safari! In this class, Mini Chefs will whisk, scoop, and swirl chocolate and vanilla batters to bake their own Zebra Muffins, with stripes baked right inside every bite. While the muffins are in the oven, they’ll make Monkey Banana Bites: sliced bananas dipped in a simple coating and rolled in fun toppings for a playful, bite-size jungle snack.

Mini Chefs will:

  • Measure and mix ingredients to make their own muffin batter
     
  • Scoop and swirl chocolate and vanilla to create “zebra stripes” in each muffin
     
  • Practice basic baking safety and cleanliness while their treats bake
     
  • Assemble and decorate Monkey Banana Bites using bananas and simple toppings
     


A fun, sweet jungle adventure to follow up your savory safari classes.
